Veteran sharpshooter joining Unrivaled Basketball League
Washington Mystics center Stefanie Dolson becomes player No. 32 to join Unrivaled.
Another Washington Mystics standout is headed to Miami for Unrivaled this offseason. Stefanie Dolson, the team’s 32-year-old veteran sharpshooter, is the professional 3-on-3 league’s latest addition.
Dolson is an elite three-point shooter who has averaged 8.9 points across 11 WNBA seasons. This past season, she shot a career-best 46.5% from three-poins, one of the highest marks in the league.
Dolson becomes player No. 32 to join Unrivaled, with 4 more players slated to be revealed in the coming days. She is the fourth Washington Mystics player to participate in the new league, which promises players equity, and will be broadcast on TNT.

How does Unrivaled work?
Unrivaled’s premise is simple: gather 36 of the best women’s basketball players in the world, bring them to Miami for 8 weeks, divide them into six teams, and let them play 3-on-3 basketball on a compressed full-court. All of it will be broadcast on TNT, multiple times per week, and the number one priority is player development.
“It’s just an opportunity to create something really unique for the players and for the fans, to be quite honest,” Alex Bazzell, the league’s president, told SB Nation.
