The wait for the announcement of the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, is over. The two are expected to commit on Oct. 10, a source told ZAGSBLOG.

Cameron, the No. 2 player in the class, and Cayden, the No. 21 overall prospect, are down to Duke and Miami. The sons of five-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer unofficially visited both schools recently, and Jon Scheyer and Jim Larrañaga have been in to see them at Columbus.

The twins previously gave thoughts on their final options to ZAGSBLOG:

Cameron Boozer

Duke: “Duke is obviously a great school, one of the most winningest schools in college basketball. So that’s obviously very impressive for them. Just the way the get at it and make deep runs each year.”

On relationship with Scheyer: “We’ve been building it for a long time, I think since freshman year. So we have a good relationship.”

Miami: “They play really fast. They’re a great team. Great coach. Coach Larrañaga is a great coach. One of the best coaches in college. One of the winningest coaches in college. He’s been in the game a long time, so. I’d say they pride themselves on defense and they play fast. Things like that.”

Cayden Boozer

Duke: “Their playstyle is great. I like how their guards get involved. They can play on and off the ball. Every Duke guard that I see, they always just get better while they are there. It prepares them for the NBA.”

On head coach Jon Scheyer: “I feel like I have a good relationship with him. We talk every week just about basketball, or whatever. We just talk a lot and I have a good relationship with him.”

Miami: “They play really fast and I feel like they are kind of a pro-style offense. I love their program. They made the Final Four two years ago and they are just trying to become a team that’s always getting into the tournament. Obviously, they didn’t have their best year last year but they’re always trying to be one of those top teams.”

On head coach Jim Larrañaga: “He’s a great coach. He’s really wise. He knows a lot about the game, has a lot of experience. He has coached a lot of teams, small divisions and Power Five. So I mean with all that experience, I feel like I can learn a lot from him.”

Duke does not have any commits in the 2025 class. Miami has one in guard Matthew Able.
