YouTube Gold: Kyle Filipowski And Jared McCain Go House Hunting

A glimpse into some possible Brotherhood gigs

In this video, Kyle Filipowski and his fiancée Caitlin Hutchinson ignore the best advice athletes or coaches could get and rather then rent, go house shopping.

If you were 20 and had just signed a significant NBA contract, you’d probably buy too.

Filipowski and Hutchinson look at two houses here, one more traditional and one quite contemporary.

The first house has a small basketball court which is really a nice luxury for a basketball player.

Bonus: he does some commercials here with former Duke teammate Jared McCain, who was taken by Philadelphia in this summer’s NBA Draft.

And as part of the same series, McCain goes house shopping too. He’s looking in Philly since the 76ers took him in this summer’s draft, while Filipowski is looking in Salt Lake City.

McCain is getting settled into Philly and his natural charisma comes through when he does a Philly quiz for nearby pedestrians and also when he learns how to make a Philly Cheese steak.

At the end, he sits with a kid who explains Philly Cheese steaks to him and then has him and a kid who reps another restaurant go one on one on a basketball court.

The kid in the white shirt has some charisma of his own.

As we fully expected, McCain’s natural charisma is going to win over Philly fans and you can see it happen in this video in real time. They’re going to love him.
