NBA 2K25 officially unveiled their player ratings this week. For Golden State Warriors fans, the spotlight was once again on point guard Stephen Curry who earned a 95 overall rating, seventh-highest among the league’s top players.

While this marks a slight downgrade from the 96 rating he held for the past three years, it hardly reflects a decline in Curry’s game. At 36 years old and entering his 16th NBA season, Curry continues to perform at an elite level, and shows little reason to believe that he is slowing down. His impact on the court remains as profound as ever, and he’s poised to continue leading a retooled Warriors’ roster with the same level of excellence this upcoming season.

Besides considering an offer from Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, Bruno Caboclo is currently practicing with the Golden State Warriors, hoping to sign a contract and return to the NBA.

His agent Daniel Hazan expanded on current options for the Brazilian big.

“He is training with Golden State until Thursday intending to get a contract. And he believes he will succeed,” Hazan told Israeli outlet Sports Channel.

Duke’s Cooper Flagg signs New Balance shoe endorsement deal | ESPN

Duke forward Cooper Flagg — the No. 1 prospect in ESPN’s 2025 NBA draft class — has signed a significant shoe endorsement deal with New Balance.

Flagg joins a New Balance brand tied closely to his home state, including a Skowhegan, Maine, manufacturing factory that is 25 miles from his childhood home in Newport.

“The connection with New Balance as a family company and a company with Maine roots means a lot to me,” Flagg told ESPN. “That makes this really different and special. My mom used to go to the tent sale for back-to-school shopping there when we were kids. That really aligns the brand with my roots. It’s a perfect fit.”

The most interesting at the moment, at least to me, is Kuminga. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Kuminga is slated to be a restricted free agent next offseason and is obviously hoping to secure a massive raise. However, to garner a max contract, he will likely need to take a significant step forward. But exactly how unprecedented of a leap does he need to make?

I decided to compare Kuminga’s third NBA season to the third year for some elite wings who seem to share some characteristics with the Warriors wing: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Jaylen Brown, Pascal Siakam, and George.
