Jazz a potential Brandon Ingram trade suitor?

0 3
The Jazz are a team NBA insiders have circled as being a potential Brandon Ingram suitor. The bigs on Utah’s roster include Walker Kessler, John Collins, Drew Eubanks and Kyle Filipowski. Kessler, who’s still on his rookie contract, offers rim protection, a quality Pelicans executive David Griffin has been seeking to add for more than a year.

More on this storyline

Pat McAfee: “I’m told the trade market for Brandon Ingram is limited.. New Orleans wants him to stay and he wants to stay as well.. The sense around New Orleans is he’s going to be there and they’re fully expecting him to be part of this Pelicans team” ~ @ShamsCharania -via x.com / August 6, 2024
The Warriors maintain control of all but one of their future first-round picks (a 2030 top-20 protected pick outgoing to Washington), plus a young quartet of Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Moody and Jonathan Kuminga, providing flexibility and ammunition to be an aggressive buyer all the way to February’s deadline. They’ve shown no appetite to enter the Zach LaVine or Brandon Ingram market. -via New York Times / August 6, 2024
Evan Sidery: The Jazz are a potential team to monitor for Brandon Ingram, per @cclark_13 (podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fro…). If Utah signs Lauri Markkanen to a new long-term contract in August, they could pivot to a win-now move acquiring Ingram. pic.twitter.com/C4QsUhPTt8 -via Twitter @esidery / July 28, 2024
