Sion James Video (And Some Exciting Comments Too)
James sounds like a great fit for Duke
Jeff Goodman posted these comments on X. They’re about Sion James from an unnamed coach. This should get you juiced up:
“I think Duke got a steal.
“Can play any position. Very High IQ. The knock on him before was that he couldn’t shoot, but he worked on it and shot 38 percent from 3 this year. So that speaks for his work ethic itself.
“His defense and ability to get deflections is insane. Has the ability to affect a game in so many ways that aren’t on a box score.
“Honestly, if you could go into a machine and make a stereotype old school Duke players, that’s Sion. All around student athlete.”
Not to get too hyped up but he sounds a bit Battier-esque.
We thought it would be a good idea to link to some video to get an idea of what James will bring to Duke.
One of the things that jumps out in these videos is how sparse the crowds are. James is going to have a radically different experience in Cameron.
