Pacers had a 1st quarter 142.9 O-RTG in the half court. If they’re going to score that efficiently in the halfcourt its gonna be a taaaaaaaaaall hill for the Bucks to climb without Giannis and Dame – 10:08 PM

The Celtics say Kristaps Porzingis is out with a soleus strain — the same injury Giannis Antetokounmpo has missed the entire Bucks-Pacers series so far with. – 5:09 PM

Porzingis is out with a right soleus strain. The same injury that’s kept Giannis Antetokounmpo out since April 9. Have to imagine he’s going to be out for a decent amount of time. – 5:03 PM

It could be the Bucks final game of the season tomorrow night.
It could also be the final game in a Bucks uniform for Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jae Crowder, Danilo Gallinari and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. All are in the final year of their contracts. – 9:08 PM
Bobby Manning @RealBobManning
On site achilles tests are pretty accurate, so optimism about Porzingis’ achilles will probably prove accurate. But a significant calf strain could still knock Porzingis out for some time, as we’ve seen with Giannis Antetokounmpo. – 9:07 PM
Jeff Stotts @InStreetClothes
It’s always weird when we have a random spike of a specific injury but a variety of calf injuries are causing problems throughout the NBA playoffs. Giannis (soleus), Dame (Achilles), Jamal Murray (calf), and now Porzingis. Heck, Luke Kornet just returned from a calf strain of… – 8:55 PM

Tony East: Tyrese Haliburton is questionable with lower back spasms tomorrow for Game 5. Bennedict Mathurin is out. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are doubtful. Khris MIddleton and Patrick Beverley are probable. -via Twitter @TonyREast / April 29, 2024
Jeff Stotts: Re: Kristaps Porzingis: KP suffered the same injury that is currently keeping Giannis sidelined. As I mentioned then, the soleus is a part of the calf muscle complex. The average time lost for strains specified as a soleus injury is ~17 days (6 games).
