How to watch Warriors at Clippers
Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors finish their three-game road trip with a visit to Southern California as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers. The game will be played at 7:30 PM PT in Los Angeles and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State’s losing streak against the Phoenix Suns extended to three games this season after they lost to them on Tuesday night, 119-116. Due to the struggles of the Warriors’ starters, head coach Steve Kerr opted to close the game with his bench alongside point guard Stephen Curry. Kerr felt the move was necessary as he stuck with the guys who were ‘playing the best’.

Having said that, the big story out of Tuesday’s game was the ejection of Draymond Green. It was Green’s third ejection of the season already as he once again loss control and “unintentionally” punched Suns’ center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

What to watch for tonight:
With Green now suspended indefinitely, life for the Warriors becomes much more difficult, especially on the defensive side of the floor. Thursday’s matchup against the Clippers features one of the more talented rosters in the league. They rank 12th in offensive rating (114.9), 6th in defensive rating (110.3), and 6th in overall net rating (4.6).
Now that Kerr has established his willingness to bench the traditional starters, it should be interesting to see how he decides to approach tonight’s starting lineup without Green. The obvious answer is by starting Jonathan Kuminga, who provides a rare blend of size and athleticism that the team desperately needs. The third-year power forward has scored double digit points in four of his last five games despite playing in an inconsistent role.
