Who had this on their bingo card?

To say Monday Night Football was a disappointment for the Jaguars is an understatement. The team walked into the stadium in a position to take the No. 1 seed in the AFC — and went home licking their wounds after getting dunked on by JAKE BROWNING.

The Bengals backup quarterback was expected to be the reason Cincinnati would lose, but he want on to make legitimate NFL history.

It still absolutely unbelievable that this happened. To be fair, the Jaguars pass defense is this team’s biggest problem where they rank 30th in the NFL — but still it’s Jake Browning we’re talking about here.

When the dust settled Browning finished with a frankly absurd stat line, best in the NFL this week among quarterbacks by a mile.

32-for-37, 354 yards (9.6 YPA), 1 TD — 115.5 passer rating
2 carries, 22 yards, 1 TD

Not too shabby for a 27-year-old who is technically in his first NFL season after bouncing around the Vikings’ practice squad for two years prior without finding a home until now.

Browning will continue to start for the Bengals while Joe Burrow recovers from a toe injury, and he might just be an x-factor for Cincinnati down the stretch.
