St. John’s guard RJ Luis sidelined for 2-4 weeks

St. John’s guard RJ Luis is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks with an injury to his shins, the team confirmed Friday.
A broken hand held him out of the season’s first five games as well.
Lewis put up 14 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assists on 6-of-12 shooting in his lone appearance against Holy Cross this season.
The UMass transfer averaged 11.5 points on 48.5% shooting for the Minutemen last year.
He is slated to miss Friday’s matchup at West Virginia as well as games against Sacred Heart, Boston College and Fordham while dates with No. 4 UConn and Xavier seem questionable.
