Five-star guard Skyy Clark transfers to Louisville
By CHARLIE PARENT
Skyy Clark, a five-star point guard in the Class of 2022, has transferred to Louisville, he announced on Thursday.
Clark played 13 games this season at Illinois, averaging 7.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, but took a leave from the program in early January for family reasons and never returned.
He initially committed to Kentucky last spring, but decommitted and pledged to Illinois.
He will be an important addition for Louisville coach Kenny Payne, whose team went 4-28 in his first season.
“Today I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Louisville,” Clark said on Twitter. “I am ready to play for Coach Kenny Payne and the city of Louisville. The time is now to chase my dream with Coach KP and staff but even bigger than that, the dream for Louisville Basketball!”
