[Women's Basketball] #1 UAV Beats #4 WU in First Cal Pac Semifinal

Top-seeded Antelope Valley ran past #4 Westcliff 63-50 in the first semifinal matchup of the California Pacific Conference Championship tournament at Bell Bank Park at Legacy Fields in Mesa, Ariz.  The Pioneers' relentless pressure, aggressive defense, and offensive speed advanced them into the conference title match, which will be played tomorrow, Feb. 28 at 4:00 PST.  Because UAV already earned one of the automatic bids by winning the regular season crown, the second Cal Pac team that advances will be the winner of today's second semifinal between #2 Simpson and #3 Embry-Riddle because if UAV wins the tourney title, the tournament runner-up will join them in the NAIA national field.
