[Men's Soccer] ERAU Ousted by Top Seed St. Thomas
Embry-Riddle entered the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship boasting one of the most potent offenses in the country with 73 goals—tied for the second most in the NAIA. But in Thursday's First Round matchup against top-seeded St. Thomas, that offense got shut down in a 4-0 loss to the Bobcats in Miami Gardens, Fla, ending the Eagles impressive run through the 2022 campaign. Making its first appearance on the national stage since 2019, ERAU (16-4-1) won the California Pacific Conference regular season title and then tacked on a tournament championship last Saturday, but STU (10-1-5) scored three times in the first 37 minutes and the Eagle offense was unable to answer.
