The California Pacific Conference season launches this Thursday, Sept. 8 with five matches in Southern California, and Park-Gilbert, which opens on the road at La Sierra, enters the campaign on roll.  The Buccaneers celebrated receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the first time in the program's brief history by running off four consecutive victories and compiling a 7-4 non-conference mark.  Park defeated host Arizona Christian and Montana Western in straight sets in Friday's first day of the Labor Day Festival in Phoenix, Ariz., and stopped Providence (Mont.) in four sets on Saturday.  Maggie Scranton led the Bucs with 12 kills on a .500 hitting percentage against ACU and followed that up with a team high 12 against Providence.  In the final match of the weekend, Annika Wallace posted her first career double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs. Haddie Patton, the all-time digs leader in school history, has had two matches this Fall where she came within one of tying the school record for digs in a match., and she finally got it with 29 digs against Providence.
