Live Thread: Pistons @ Cavs

Good evening CtB!

Tonight the Cavs will try to bounce back from a gut wrenching loss to the Washington Wizards, taking on the struggling Detroit Pistons in a Central Divison matchup. The Cavs will still be missing Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love due to Healthy and Safety Protocol.

This is a matchup that the Cavs should win, but the question for this young Cavs’ team is whether they can ignore outside expectations and execute on the floor. Are they satisfied being a .500 team, or do they want to push the envelope as Cedi Osman’s quote reveals:

What would be awesome is a double digit beatdown because the Cavs are clearly playing better, but what feels more likely is a defensive struggle that comes down to who has the last shot. Here’s to hoping yours truly is dead wrong lol.
