[Women's Basketball] Rio women shoot down Cardinals

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - In each of their first three games this season, the University of Rio Grande women's basketball team relied on a high-octane offense to achieve victory.
    And while the RedStorm scored more than enough point to get the job done on Saturday, it was defense which helped head coach David Smalley's club stay undefeated.
    Rio Grande parlayed 29 turnovers by Concordia University-Ann Arbor into 29 points and posted an 83-70 triumph over the Cardinals on the final day of the Rio Grande Classic at the Newt Oliver Arena.
