[Men's Cross Country] Cornerstone Three-Peats in Men's Cross Country
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (Individual Results | Team Results) - Cornerstone outdistanced the rest of the field to win its third consecutive (fourth overall) Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Cross Country Championship at Donald Ross Golf Course. Colten Covington paced the Golden Eagles with a winning time of 25:07.6 for the 8K race and three more CU runners followed him across the finish line to claim the top four spots. CU also picked up the eighth place to finish with 18 points.
Colten's win moved Cornerstone to 11 all-time individual champions, the most in WHAC history. Aquinas came in second with 67 points led by Ben Hylen's fifth-place finish while UM-Dearborn rounded out the third with 81 points behind Ryan Exell's seventh-place run. Indiana Tech hosted the event for the first time in school history.
