[Women's Basketball] RedStorm clobbers Blue Devils

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Any hopes that Lawrence Tech University had of dealing the host University of Rio Grande a loss in its own RedStorm Classic before heading back north to Michigan died in a disastrous second quarter.
    The Blue Devils managed just four points in the period, helping the RedStorm build a commanding 27-point advantage at the intermission and fueling an eventual 92-48 victory, Saturday afternoon, in the final round of the two-day event at the Newt Oliver Arena.
    Rio Grande improved to 2-0 with the victory.
    Lawrence Tech saw its record dip to 0-3 as a result of the loss.
