[Women's Soccer] Season-Opening Wins Pile Up For Cal Pac Schools

Five California Pacific Conference teams notched their first wins of the 2021 season.  Saint Katherine tipped La Sierra 1-0 in double overtime, UC Merced topped William Jessup 3-1, Pacific Union went on the road and edged Multnomah 1-0 in Portland, Ore., Embry-Riddle ran all over Southwest 7-1, and Benedictine-Mesa downed in-state rival Arizona Christian 3-1.

LSU played back-to-back double-overtime games to open the season.  The Golden Eagles played to a draw with Vanguard on Aug. 19 and surrendered a goal in the 100th minute in a 1-0 setback against Saint Katherine.  USK's Ceirra Little converted a Megan Dalit pass for the only score in the match.
