[Men's Golf] ERAU Makes Cut for Final Rounds

Following a rainy Round One on Tuesday, the sun was shining for a bright Day Two in Silvis, Ill. at TPC Deere Run.  After a full day of play, the 2021 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship qualifiers were cut down to the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals, including ties, leading into the final rounds of play in the next two days.  California Pacific Conference champion Embry-Riddle completed the second round shooting a 308, which dropped the Eagles eight spots into a three-way tie for 15th place with Midway (Ky.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) with a two round total of 607.  The two-day total on the par 71, 6,732-yard course is 28 strokes behind leader Texas Wesleyan but keeps ERAU alive in the national tournament.
