Texas A&M adds Wyoming transfer Marcus Williams
By ADAM ZAGORIA
New Texas A&M coach Mark Adams has to rebuild his roster after several players hit the Transfer Portal following the coaching change in which Adams replaced Chris Beard.
Adams landed one valuable piece Saturday when former Wyoming guard and Texas native Marcus Williams opted to transfer to Lubbock. The 6-foot-2 Wiliams averaged 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 45 percent from the field.
He will have up to four years of eligibility at A&M.
