YouTube Gold: Knicks vs. Pelicans
Which means Zion and Brandon vs. RJ which means fun for Duke fans
The New York Knicks visited the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday night in a game with lots of interesting angles.
Julius Randle played his old team, for one. Lonzo Ball, who didn’t play in this one, has been linked to the Knicks in free agent speculation.
And of course it was a chance for Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett, great friends from their Duke days, to play against each other.
Williamson won the statistical battle, scoring 25 on 10-19 from the floor, eight rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steals.
Barrett was limited to 2-10 but got the last laugh as the Knicks won and sharply limited Williamson late by crowding him in the lane, and thus holding him to just four points over the last 19 minutes of the game.
Here are highlights from Wednesday’s game featuring all three former Blue Devils - Williamson, Barrett, and New Orleans’ Brandon Ingram.
