Duke vs. UNC Peloton - The Results!

A fun new part of the rivalry is born

We’re excited to announce that Duke (Peloton!) beat UNC during Saturday’s “virtual” Peloton Rivalry Ride! With the win, Duke swept the regular season Peloton rivalry with UNC!

Duke Peloton riders (riding with the #ForeverDuke Peloton tag) generated 14,032 of total output and UNC riders (riding with the #UNCTarHeels Peloton tag) generated 10,451 of total output! Translation: that’s a lot of Duke/Carolina sweat and calories burned in the spirit of the best rivalry in all of sports!

The final score was calculated based on the Top 30 finishers for each team.

Thanks to all the riders who participated! The Duke Peloton group is now approaching 600 members and the group rides together every few weeks. The group rides together using the #ForeverDuke Peloton tag during Peloton “on-demand” or “live” rides. Some examples of past Duke Peloton rides include riding to 80’s music, 90’s music, 2000’s music, 2010’s music, pop music, classic rock, holiday music, Billy Joel, Beyonce, and The Beatles! A few of the rides have even featured the Cameron Indoor favorite, “Everytime We Touch!”
