Klay Thompson offers James Wiseman three tips from the bench
Having played his part from the bench in their last game, center James Wiseman is taking a different approach in his new role from the bench for the Golden State Warriors as he sees it as a learning experience.

While Draymond Green took the James Wiseman under his wing, the 19-year-old rookie got his advice from a different player in the Warriors' prolific team member while watching the game from the bench: Klay Thompson.
Speaking after the victory over the Timberwolves on Monday night, Wiseman told the reporters: "We talked about the road trips, like how I'm getting used to the NBA so far. He's just giving me tips like I'm already good because I'm a great player and I love to listen and he could tell. A lot of positive additives like that and just giving me a lot of great advice."
Thompson, who is a three-time NBA Champion, had three tips for his new teammate for the season.
"Stay aggressive on the offensive end, make sure I take care of my body every game because the road trips are very tough and the third one is making sure that I am a great teammate always and even if I have a good or bad game make sure I keep my head up and just keep going."
Klay Thompson, who is also an assistant coach in the team, could be regarded as a good resource for Wiseman to follow. And while the Golden State Warriors missed having Thompson in the court, the 30-year-old guard availability on the bench has been a huge bonus for the team.
While featured as a reserve for the team in his first game, Wiseman was still able to register 13 points, 4 rebounds, and blocked two shots. The Warriors understand that Wiseman's progress could play a huge role in the franchise success this campaign if they were to have any.
