[Softball] Cornerstone hires Kooistra for softball post

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (CU Release) - Kelsey Kooistra has been hired as the new head coach of the Cornerstone softball program. Kooistra's tenure begins immediately to work toward the spring season. A recent graduate of Indiana Wesleyan, Kooistra was an NFCA All-American and four-year starter. She helped her team to four NAIA Opening Round appearances and two trips to the NAIA World Series while being named to the NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team. 

Kooistra earned a degree in Mathematics Education and spent the last two and a half years at Northern Michigan Christian teaching math and serving as a volleyball, basketball, and softball coach.
