First half only:
SMU is dictating the flow of the game with their defense - lots of pressure, jumping and doubling ball screens
Were taking, settling for some really poor shots.
We look lost in the open court, with terrible spacing.
Crutcher with a rough start.
Chatman with a rougher start.
Sissko with some early contributions. Awkward footwork, appears a little clumsy. Aggressive on the boards. Nice 2-2 FTs
Our defensive rotations look good. Rebounding is improved as well.
We need to find a way to convert their overextended pressure into some easy buckets.
Finally an open court finish to cap a 7-0 run.
Chase struggling with defense in the post. Really gets pushed around.
Chase offensively?? WOW!!! Trying to imagine where wed be right now without him, a guy who we probably werent figuring into 2020/21 when last season ended.
Thankfully, SMU cannot shoot. At least not today anyway.
SMUs Jasey airballs a FT, literally like 5 feet short. Thats hard to do.
Were still struggling to find ourselves. Weve got a lot of work to do.
Our freshmen are simply not ready to contribute.
Overall, good half from Jordy. Wished hed avoided that last foul.
With 10 TOs, Im pleased with a 5-point lead.
