Fall VB dead in the water

NCAA gave schools-conferences until Aug 21 to let them know if they were playing this fall and planning conference tournaments. If more than 50% postponed until Spring, the NCAA would cancel the fall championship.
Big East announced move to Spring late today and that put the number of programs over 170 which is more than 50%. So vball is officially dead this fall. It probably affects soccer too, but I don’t have a count for those teams.
It would also mean the three P5 who are going forward with football are now going to probably have to decide what to do with the other fall sports - play a schedule but no NCAA tournament or move to spring ???? But leave football in the fall????
I will get a big laugh if it’s volleyball getting postponed to spring that takes down fall football. Never in my wildest dreams...
