KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Kansas Wesleyan University and Sterling College were both ranked in the top 25 of the final NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll of the season, the national office announced Wednesday. The Coyotes dropped one spot from the previous poll to No. 15, and the Warriors also dropped one spot to No. 21. Kansas Wesleyan (regular-season conference champions), Sterling (at-large), and unranked Avila (conference tournament champions) will all represent the KCAC at the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Championship, which takes place March 11-17 in Sioux City, Iowa.
