Drake's Coach checks in on the game

A few nice compliments and some valiant efforts to put lipstick on a pig. Or in this case a Bulldog.
"This is a really good Dayton team, but losing by 30 isn't the result we wanted," said Drake head coach Darian DeVries. "But you could see in the second half why they're so explosive and have a lot of ways to get you and get ahead in a hurry. That's what they did to us and what they've done to a lot of people. We just have to keep getting better and I know we can do that."
The game was typical of what we are going to see in games with a +16 spread. Their coach admitted Drake wanted the game to be ugly so they could stay close. I thought from 18-18 the game was just fine.
Except for the BS technical on Obi.
