Warriors’ Draymond Green “Questionable” against Dallas Mavericks
Two-game winning streak, here we come!
It’s the tail end of a back-to-back, and the Golden State Warriors are marching into Dallas in the hopes of adding another win. But just prior to tip off, Warriors coach Steve Kerr threw a minor complication into the plans, indicating that Draymond Green will be officially Questionable and is a game time decision whether or not he plays tonight.
From Anthony Slater:
Steve Kerr said Draymond Green is now questionable tonight in Dallas. Not because of the elbow. Just overall banged up after 35 minutes last night. Will warm up and wants to go, but training staff will decide.

Given the back-to-back, and the various bumps and bruises Green is currently playing through, my guess is that Green won’t play tonight. But then again, the reason Green played 35 minutes last night is that the Warriors only have nine total active players - eight being the league mandatory minimum.
If he can’t go, that means that the team is going to need even more offense than usual from Eric Paschall (30 points on Sunday) and Alec Burks (29 points on Tuesday). But on the defensive side, there is no substitute for Green. The Mavericks run a fairly heavy pick-and-roll attack with Luka Doncic featuring in around 40% of all their offensive possessions. The Warriors defense has slowly been climbing back into mediocrity, but will be hard-pressed to slow a Mavericks attack that is among the best in the league right now.
