Who was the Warrior Wonder in the loss to Boston?

There’s a lot of shine to go around.

The Golden State Warriors put on a riveting show in a loss to the Boston Celtics last night, and there is a lot of praise to go around for this young team.

Who was your Warrior Wonder from last night?

Alec Burks

The veteran has been a beacon of strong play during a season of turmoil. His 20 points were manufactured in part by a steady diet of free throws, as he knocked down 11-of-12 shots from the charity stripe. He was a +3 plus/minus off of the bench and was a steadying hand in his 31 minutes.

Eric Paschall

The rookie Paschall scored 16 points on a team high 14 field goal attempts. After D’Angelo Russell left with a thumb injury, Paschall was the clear number one option on offense, and he took on the challenge with zeal. He also added 8 rebounds.

Willie Cauley-Stein

This was probably the big man’s best showing as a Warrior, knocking down 5-of-6 of his shots and adding 8 boards and a block. He competed against the Celtics front line with vigor and showed signs that he’s getting more comfortable as a Dub. His alley-oop conversion late in the fourth got the Chase Center pumped up.

D’Angelo Russell

Russell had an active night until his injury, tallying up 12 points, 7 assists, and a whopping 9 turnovers. Everybody was catching passes from DLo last night, no matter whether they be wearing yellow or green. His scoring wizardy would have been a nice weapon to have in crunch time, when the Warriors were desperate to locate consistent offense.

Omari Spellman

The young big man played only 12 minutes, but racked up 8 points and 8 rebounds and a block. When he was on the floor, his impact was felt, and that bodes well for future roles as a Warrior.
