[Women's Basketball] Hennessee Wins AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
DAYTON, Tenn. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced this season's second edition of the league's basketball player of the week awards on Monday, and garnering her first collegiate AAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor was Bryan College freshman and Athens, Tennessee native Kaitlynn Hennessee (FR/Athens, Tenn.). The former McMinn County High School standout has been a dominating force for the 20th-ranked Bryan team as the 2019-20 season gets underway. In addition to her 3rd-highest scoring on the team through the Lions five games played averaging 16.2 points per game and shooting 56 percent from the floor, she also leads the team with 6.4 rebounds per game, 2.6 steals per game, and 5 total blocks while chipping in 3.6 assists per game.
