[Men's Golf] UNOH captures first men's golf jamboree

EAST LANSING, Mich. - (Complete Results) - UNOH shot rounds of 306 and 310 to win the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Golf Jamboree. The Racers finished +40 on the Timber Ridge Golf Club par 72 course. Gonzlo Garcia-Parada led UNOH with rounds of 75 and 71 for a 2-over-par 146 and a five-stroke win as four Racers finished in the top 10.

Aquinas was only one stroke behind UNOH on the second day, moving up a spot from the first day to finish as runner-up at 630. Cleary and Lourdes tied for third with scores of 638 while Madonna rounded out the top five teams at 653.

The second jamboree, hosted by Cornerstone, is set for Oct. 4-5 at The Mines Golf Course.
