Jamir Watkins to VCU

Jamir Watkins, the 6-foot-7 small forward Trenton (N.J.) Catholic and Team Final, committed to VCU.
He also considered Seton Hall, St. John’s and Virginia Tech, among others.
“Jamir is one of the most talented players mixed with athleticism I’ve ever coached,” Team Final coach Aaron Burt said. “Once he puts it all together and competes to his highest level consistently he’s gonna be special.”
He joins point guard Adrian Baldwin and shooting guard Josh Banks in VCU’s 2020 recruiting class.
