Duke lands Jeremy Roach
By RYAN McMULLEN
Jeremy Roach, the 6-foot-2 point guard from Paul VI Catholic (VA), announced his commitment to Duke on Wednesday night.
Roach picked the Blue Devils over the likes of Kentucky, North Carolina, and Villanova.
Mike Krzyzewski and his staff are receiving a physically gifted guard who is a gritty scorer and does a great job of leading his team.
According to 247Sports, Roach is a five-star prospect, ranked No. 14 nationally, and is the No. 2 point guard.
He is the first five-star in the 2020 class to commit and also is the first Duke commit in the class. The Blue Devils are also in the hunt for five-stars Jalen Johnson, Scottie Barnes, Brandon Boston, and Walker Kessler.
