[Women's Bowling] Indiana Tech finishes second at NAIA Women's Bowling Invitational

TOPEKA, Kan. - Indiana Tech finished as runner-up at the 2019 NAIA Women's Bowling National Invitational at West Ridge Lanes. The Warriors took the top seed in the double-elimination format after the four games of Baker play, but lost twice to SCAD Savannah in the championship round. Tech scored a total of 4756 and Concordia finished the seeding round at No. 8 with a total of 4290.

Tech received a bye in the first round of bracket play while Concordia won its match 3-1 against No. 9 Martin Methodist (Tenn.). That pitted the two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) teams against each other in the second round with Tech coming out on top 3-1. Concordia was then eliminated with a 3-2 loss to Campbellsville (Ky.).

The Warriors defeated William Penn (Iowa) 3-2 and then sent SCAD to the elimination bracket with a 3-1 victory in Round 5. SCAD battled its way to the championship where the Bees needed two games to win the invitational (3-0, 3-2).
