0 22

DEERFIELD, Ill. – They always say that records are made to be broken and that certainly seemed to be the case on Saturday, Feb. 16 when the Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball team traveled to Trinity International University (Ill.). With 58 seconds left in the opening half, Jess Learned (SR/Washington, Ill.) connected for a deep three-pointer to surpass Hilary Disch as the all-time leading scoring in program history. Not to be outdone, Kayla Ross (JR/Elgin, Ill.) dished out her second assist of the game with 5:55 on the clock in the third quarter to surpass Canace Lahr to become the all-time assists leader. Learned, Ross and the Tigers solidified an opening round home game in the upcoming Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament with an 86-51 win over the Trojans to finish out the regular season.
