[Men's Basketball] Bryan's Opening Rally Overwhelms Tennessee Wesleyan

DAYTON, Tenn. – Through the first seven minutes of play on Tuesday night, Bryan College's men's basketball team silenced visiting Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Tennessee Wesleyan University while rallying for 18 points. The near 20-point lead at the start of the first half proved too much for the Bulldogs to overcome, as the Lions extended their advantage to 26 points by the end of the period, 44-18. At one point of the second half, Bryan's lead grew to as high as 39 points, 84-45, before Tennessee Wesleyan was able to get in a flow behind the arc, which dropped the difference to 26 points by the final buzzer. Bryan overwhelmed Tennessee Wesleyan 87-61, improving to 11-10 in AAC play and 14-13 overall while the Bulldogs lowered their conference record to 4-16 and overall record to 8-18.
