[Women's Basketball] Second-Half Turnaround Lifts Bluefield to 54-44 Win over Point WBB
BLUEFIELD, Va. – Fourth-place Point University (10-6; 9-5 AAC) led 28-22 at halftime, but fifth-place Bluefield College (9-9; 8-6 AAC) outscored the Skyhawks in the second half, 32-16, and emerged with a 54-44 Appalachian Athletic Conference women's basketball victory, Saturday, Jan. 12, in Dome Gymnasium in Bluefield, Va. The Rams defeated the Skyhawks twice in regular-season AAC action. Point hosts 15th-ranked Bryan College (15-1; 13-0 AAC), the first-place team in the AAC, Wed., Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m., and ninth-place Montreat College (7-9; 6-7 AAC), Sat., Jan. 19, at 4 p.m., in West Point Park Gym.
