[Men's Basketball] Bluefield Knocks Off Point Men's Basketball in AAC Action, 106-76
BLUEFIELD, Va. – Fourth-place Bluefield College (12-6; 7-5 AAC) built a 28-point lead, 47-19, late in the first half and stretched its advantage to 44 points in the second half and went on to a 106-76 victory over Point University (5-14; 3-9 AAC) in Appalachian Athletic Conference men's basketball action in Dome Gymnasium in Bluefield, Va., Saturday, Jan. 12. The Rams defeated the Skyhawks twice in regular-season AAC action. Point hosts Bryan College (9-9; 6-6 AAC), which is tied for fifth place in the AAC with Reinhardt University (8-9; 6-6 AAC), Wed., Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m., and first-place Montreat College (12-3; 9-2 AAC), Sat., Jan. 19, at 6 p.m., in West Point Park Gym.
