[Basketball] Basketball opens conference play on the road at Cumberland

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men and women's basketball teams open up Mid-South Conference play on Saturday against Cumberland (Tenn.) at Dallas Floyd Recreation Center in Lebanon, Tenn.
The Blue Raider women are set to tip off at 2 p.m. CT with the men set to play afterward at 4 p.m. CT.
The No. 18-ranked women (9-4) return to play after a tough 88-54 road loss to future MSC opponent Thomas More (Ky.) on Thursday night. Jynea Harris led the Blue Raider offense scoring 18 points with Reagan Turner close behind with 16 points. Gerda Paulauskaite led the team with three blocks while J'Nayah Hall led the team with five rebounds.
Reagan Turner continues to lead the Blue Raider offensive efforts this season with an average of 17.4 points per game and three assists per game. Turner is shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 82.1 percent from the free-throw line so far this season.
Gerda Paulauskaite continues to place in the top-10 in NAIA Division I in blocks per game (2.42) and total blocks (29). Paulauskaite also leads the team with an average of 6.92 rebounds per game for a total of 83.
Cumberland (4-8) hosts the Blue Raiders after defeating Fisk (Tenn.) 78-66 on Wednesday at home. The Phoenix are led by Carli Codner-Pinto who averages 12.2 points per game while shooting 39.4 percent from the field.
