[Women's Basketball] UAV's Price Honored as NAIA National Player of the Week

Tylen Price of Antelope Valley has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.  The junior forward from Lancaster, Calif., turned in two outstanding performances against ranked teams last week.  In a 95-84 loss to No. 11 Sterling, Price led the Pioneers with 19 points, but she was even better against NAIA Division I No. 1 Vanguard two days later.  Price produced a double-double to guide the No. 9 Pioneers to a double-overtime 108-100 upset of the Lions.  Price led all scorers in the game with 26 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds.
