[Volleyball] Aquinas Prepares for Volleyball Nationals Championship Site

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - (Pool Play Announcement) - The NAIA announced the pool assignments and schedule for the 2018 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship presented by Delta Hotels Nov. 27-29. Aquinas (33-7) landed in Pool C along with three top-20 opponents in its first-ever appearance at the NAIA National Championship. The Saints face tough competition against No. 3 Columbia (Mo.), No. 14 Midland (Neb.), and No. 18 Vanguard (Calif.). Aquinas has played only one team in its pool in school history - Vanguard, which was a 3-1 win earlier this year at the La Sierra Invitational in Riverside, Calif. 

It's the first time since 2013 that only one WHAC team has advanced to the final site. Eight groups of four teams each battle in pools with the top two teams from each pool advancing to a 16-team single-elimination bracket on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
