[Cross Country] Aquinas Hosting Great Lakes Challenge on Oct. 20

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Many of the top-ranked cross country teams in the NAIA will be town for the Great Lakes Challenge at Riverside Park on Saturday, Oct. 20. The meeting,considered to be one of the largest collegiate meets in the country, is hosted by Aquinas. The GLC features seven top-25 men's teams (along with three more receiving votes) and seven top-25 women's teams (also with three more receiving votes in the last poll) and has been run since 2008 with three men's winners and two women's winners hailing from WHAC schools. 

Zach Ripley of Cornerstone won in 2009 and 2010 and Madonna's Tony Floyd won the race last year. For the women, Rachael Steil of Aquinas won in 2010 and Melissa Winchester won it last fall.
