[Women's Basketball] Wolfblack Named Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball

SANTEE, Calif. – SDC athletics and the women's basketball program has named Anessa Wolfblack as the assistant coach for the 2018-19 season.

Wolfblack graduated from SDC this past year and played three seasons for the Hawks. In her last season, Anessa averaged 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

"Anessa brings a lot of energy, excitement and knowledge to our program," head women's basketball coach Shawn Chaffin said. "Having coached her, I was impressed with her attention to detail, her mind for the game, and the desire to elevate everyone around her. I am very excited that Anessa is joining my staff!"

Chaffin and Wolfblack look to get the Hawks back into the GSAC playoffs for the 18-19 season. SDC starts the season on November 1 against Saint Katherine.
