All the goals of World Cup Day 6, ranked

0

This continues to be a high-scoring World Cup, with 10 goals going in on Tuesday.

Once again, we’ve gone through a World Cup day without a scoreless match. We didn’t even get close on Day 6 — 10 goals were scored on Tuesday, with each match having at least three. 10. Ahmed Fathy’s own goal

Feels bad man.

9. Thiago Cionek’s own goal

7. Mohamed Salah’s penalty

Going under the wall is clever, but this one really should be saved.

5. Grzegorz Krychowiak’s set piece header

Well-placed, for sure, but it didn’t have the gravity of the goals it’s behind.

2. Denis Cheryshev finishes off a gorgeous team move

By far the best team move of the day. It’s probably a better goal than the one it’s behind. But we have to take uniqueness into account here, so...

1. M’Baye Niang tricks everyone

The ol’ coming back in off an injury trick. Poland’s defenders had no idea that the referee had waved Niang back on the pitch, and were totally baffled when he capitalized on their mistake.
