6'5 PSU TE celebrates TD by jumping over his QB, literally
The Nittany Lions are good fun.
At the end of the first half against Michigan on Saturday, Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley scored a touchdown on a keeper. His tight end, Mike Gesicki, responded by running up to him while he wasn’t looking and playing leapfrog on him.
That’s impressive! And now that celebration is something the Dolphins can get used to. The leaper, Gesecki, was selected by Miami with the 42nd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
McSorley is 6’0, which is not short. Gesicki is 6’5, though, and has previously demonstrated that he has legitimate jumping ability.

Penn State head coach James Franklin enjoys doing this thing where, after his team scores a touchdown, he pretends to physically beat up someone on his sideline. He did this with offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead during the Rose Bowl last season.
Franklin’s greeting for McSorley:
McSorley had a nice first half, and his touchdown sent the Lions into the break with a 21-13 lead. Because Franklin was not actually punching him in the head, McSorley was primed to have another strong 30 minutes down the stretch.
