At Florida, even the long spring game touchdowns end with punts
The joke in that headline, you see, is that Florida has been bad at offense for a long time. Thank you for listening.
Here’s quarterback Feleipe Franks breaking off a 60-yard scoot during the spring game, then pivoting in stride to a punt celebration in the end zone and booting the ball into the stands:
60 yards.

Kicking and punting were among Franks’ duties in high school.
Maybe new head coach Dan Mullen will have the Gators punting less frequently in actual games, and/or maybe more of UF’s many punts will start launching from the end zone, rather than the field.
Regardless, punting after diving should be worth extra points in any spring game scoring system.
