[Women's Basketball] Lady Bearcats Lose 3rd Straight

After coming off of a three game win streak, the Lady Bearcats have struggled in their last two conference games, by going 0-2. Plagued by sluggish slow starts, it has been a very hard process as they have had to play catch up in each one of those losses.

In Tuesday's game against IU East, the first half ended much the same way. The Lady Bearcats were down 38-23 going into halftime, as they only managed to score 6 points in the second quarter.

During the third quarter, the Lady Bearcats outscored the visitors 19-9. As they battled back down the stretch to tie the game. Fatigue, eventually set in and they were not able to close the game with a win.

Brescia was led in scoring by Le'Onzerrae Grubbs (JR) with 17 points, Catherine Dunn (SO) 15 and seniors, Kelsey Kirkpatrick and Haley Cook with 10 each.
