[Women's Basketball] Dudgeon Leads RC to 11th Win
Rochester Hills, Mich.—Lady Warriors took on the Wolverines of University of Michigan-Dearborn Wednesday for the second matchup this season. In game one RC won with a final score of 74-40 and swept the serirs with a 60-45 voctory in game two. Rochester College improved to 11-9 overall and 6-6 in conference play.
Junior transfer Rio Dudgeon (Macomb, Mich./Grand Valley State University) lead all scorers with 15 points with all coming from behind the 3-point arc. Allyssa Copley (Holly, Mich./Cleveland State University) also played a key role in the Warriors victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Rikki Scherdt (Ypsilanti, Mich./Schoolcraft College) lead the Warriors in the rebounding category once again grabbing 13 rebounds.
Rochester shot 37% from the court to the Wolverines 26%. RC outshot UMD at the free throw line 76% to 50%.
The Lady Warriors will be back on the hardwood this Saturday, January 20th at 1pm as they welcome in the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech University.
